Who this notice covers
This notice applies to the public GC Solutions website. It explains the present website configuration, not a future service, client engagement, or newsletter programme.
Information the site does not collect
No analytics provider, advertising tag, tracking cookie, or external measurement collector is active. Optional measurement is not sent anywhere or retained, even when a visitor allows it. The browser-only event layer exists so a later approved collector can be introduced carefully; it does not create an account, profile, or record today.
The Supply Chain Maturity Assessment does not ask for identity information. Its answers, score, and result remain in the current browser session and are never included in optional measurement or a report request.
Browser storage and choices
The site stores one essential local preference only after you choose: whether optional measurement is allowed or declined, together with the date of that choice. It stays on your device for up to 180 days so the site can respect it, then expires. You can change it at any time through “Privacy choices” in the footer.
The assessment may temporarily keep its answers in browser session storage to prevent an accidental refresh from losing work. Selected public course, service, resource, or speaking titles may also be held for the browser session to help prepare a Contact form. Closing the browser session normally clears those items. None of this browser storage is transmitted to GC Solutions by the current site configuration.
Contact and newsletter forms
Live delivery is currently disabled. The site tells you this before submission and does not send or save the name, email address, organisation, role, or message that you enter. In local non-production testing, a temporary receiver may confirm that a test request was checked; it sends no email and keeps no request content.
The form endpoint uses validation, request-size limits, bot checks, and a short rate limit to protect the service. If that protection is triggered in the local test setup, an operational log may contain the request category, outcome, time, and a short one-day hash of the network address. It excludes form content and direct contact details and is not a public-production data store.
Purposes, processors, and retention
In the current public configuration, GC Solutions has no analytics processor, no live form delivery processor, and no retained visitor or request dataset. The only retained browser item is your local preference for up to 180 days; session-only items are not retained after that session. A future processor, destination, retention period, and privacy contact must be named in this notice and approved before they are enabled.
Your choices and rights
You may refuse optional measurement without losing access to the site, change a previous choice, or clear browser storage in your browser settings. If GC Solutions later enables live delivery or an analytics processor, this notice will identify the responsible privacy contact and explain how to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or a complaint where those rights apply.
Changes and launch approval
This notice must be reviewed by the designated GC Solutions privacy owner before public launch. It will be updated before any processor, live delivery route, or non-essential measurement is enabled. The effective and updated date above will change with any approved material revision.
